When you create an account on Granted, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, education level, school, GPA, major, and demographic details you choose to share. This information is used exclusively to match you with relevant scholarships and improve your application experience.
We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and scholarship interactions to improve the platform. On mobile devices, we may collect device identifiers for push notification delivery.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (authentication, database hosting, AI processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. Your password is never stored in plain text.
You can access, update, or delete your profile data at any time from the Settings page. To request complete account deletion, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Granted is designed for high school juniors and older (typically 16+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Granted after changes constitutes acceptance.
